Keeping it togehter

This journey has been one that has taken me a while to get going. Through this process, I have discovered many things about myself. I, for one, am much stronger than I thought I was and I have been able to really clear my mind and body. I have been able to inspire people, some I know and some I do not know. I know that people will decide to get started when they are good and ready, I hope I am able to get people to come on board sooner than later. If anyone is interested in what I am doing, please take a look at my website to get started and order your products. www.goherbalife.com/shalaundabrown78.

The holidays are officially over and like many people, I may have indulged a little more than I should have...hey, I am only human! The beautiful thing is that I only gained 3 lbs throughout this huge world of food and this is due entirely to my nutrition and supplement plan through herbalife. I have been getting healthy for months and this is definitely why things turned out as they did. I especially felt great when my co-workers commented on how I was still slim, even over the holiday season.

I know that the main resolution that was made is to get in shape, which is usually the same with most people. Instead of breaking that resolution, it is time to get in shape the correct way. This program does not promote suppression of your appetite, at the same time it is giving your body everything that is needed. Come on board with the program and create an entirely new you, do it for your family, but most importantly do it for you. As I have continued on my journey, my head has been the clearest it has been in years. I used to snack, drink sodas, and go to the drive-thru without much of a second thought. Once I started on this program I realized the seed I had planted with my daughter. She has "developed" a sweet tooth, while she does eat vegetables and the other things she should, she also loves sweets. This is something I told myself I would try to avoid.

Growing up, my grandmother had every kind of chips, cookies, or snack cakes a child could want. While that was great when I was young, it was something that stuck with me for a very long time. As I am getting healthy, I am also detoxing my daughter in the process. I am not totally depriving her, but trying to help her learn the importance of moderation, something I was not taught growing up. Through example, I will be able to help her learn the healthy lifestyle that will help keep her well.

My journey began with me waking one morning to realize I no longer recognized the person staring back at me. Somewhere between getting married and having my baby, I lost me in the process, not even remembering when it happened. I had made a vow to myself I would never become that person, somehow it still happened. Not only had I lost myself, I lost control of my waist line as well.

I had become a person that was hiding behind my clothes, the bigger the better. Trying on and buying new clothes was not something I looked forward to at all. I didn't feel like I looked good in anything, I also didn't feel like I deserved any new clothes. I would always say to myself I was going to start working out and getting back to where I was, but that never happened. I felt like I was putting in the work without seeing the results.

Finally, I came across herbalife and I have to say it was a life changer for me. I have seen the weight come off and I am slim in those areas I was always trying to hide. I feel so much better about myself, better than I have felt in years. I actually look forward to getting dressed because I know everything is going to fit differently now. I am healthier, more energized, and more outgoing than I used to be. I encourage anyone that can relate to my story, would like additional information, or just want to share, please send a PM to keepingupwithhealth@gmail.com. Happy New Year and Happy New You!
